Parents,
Happy New Year! As we begin the second semester I would like to remind parents about Gradventure. Permission slips for Gradventure went on home Friday, October 21, 2016. The packet included information on Gradventure, permission slip, and a behavior contract. As it gets closer to Gradventure parents here are some important details that you need to know:
· Gradventure is on Friday, May 12, 2017. Prices for students are $100.00 and chaperones are $85.00
· Permission slips are due with payment receipt; please print receipt and have student bring to the 8th grade office. If student brings in permission slip without the payment receipt it will not be accepted. In addition, please make sure the permission slip is filled out with the correct information and completed.
· Students will be allowed to sign up for a group as soon as they bring in payment receipt and permission slips. Once student signs up for a group they are not allowed to change.
· Final payment is due by Friday March 31, 2017.
· Partial payments of $25 are accepted until February 24, 2017 and the remaining balance is due on March 31, 2017. Student can still sign up for group with a partial payment.
· Payments are final and refunds cannot be requested March 31, 2017. If student violates behavior contract after March 31st they cannot be refunded.
· Per Universal Studios Annual passes are not accepted for this event because it is a special event.
· Parents if you are interested in being a chaperone please complete ADDitions at https://volunteer.ocps.net. The price for a chaperone is $85.00. Please send in payment with child’s paperwork. Chaperones must be at least the age of 21 (Parent or legal guardian).
