TECHNOLOGY ISSUES?

There are several places to find the Student Troubleshooting Technology Guide.  It can be found on the SunRidge Middle School Home page sunridgems.ocps.net and on the Parent tab under Digital Technology.

If you need laptop repair please make an appointment using the link on our website https://www.signupgenius.com/go/508054fa8aa2da0fa7-device

Parents, please be sure your child's face mask fits properly and is worn correctly. The mask should cover both the nose and mouth at all times. If the mask is too big and tends to slide down, try twisting the ear loops to make it tighter across the face or tie a knot to shorten the loops.

Masks that are worn without covering the nose and mouth are not effective and put all at risk!

VISION AND HEARING SCREENINGS

State Law(381.0056, Florida Statues) requires that school districts in Florida provide health screenings for sixth grade students.  These include Vision and Hearing screenings for the 2020-2021 school year. A letter/permission form will be sent out regarding the Hearing screening at a later date. The Vision screening does not require parent permission. Screening will only be offered for students that are currently on the Face to Face instructional model for the 2020-2021 school year.
Students will be screened on the following dates:

Vision screening took place on  September 18, 2020 by Florida Vision Quest.
Hearing screening will take place on  October 28, 2020 by the OCPS  Audiology department.

The first SAC (School Advisory Council) meeting of the year will be held on Tuesday, October 6th at 4:30pm in the SRMS Media Center.  New members are invited to join the SAC...teachers, staff, parents, and community members. All parents are always welcome to SAC Meetings, but will need to be voted on to be a voting member of the School Advisory Council.  This is a fabulous way to stay abreast of what is going on at SunRidge Middle School and to have a voice in continuing the success.
SAC meets monthly on the first Tuesday of the month.
