Wednesday, April 7- Long Wednesday for state testing in elementary schools.  All OCPS schools will run a regular bell schedule.  NOT a short Wednesday.

Thursday, April 8- FSA Writing Test for all students.

Reminders for Testing on Thursday, April 8th

Our LaunchEd and Face to Face students will be on campus on Thursday, April 8th to take their FSA ELA Writing assessment.  Our car rider loop will be busier than normal, as most of our LaunchEd students will be dropped off there.  Please allow yourself some extra time in dropping your student off.

Remember, in order to receive an FSA ELA score, students must take the FSA ELA – Writing and Reading components.  The FSA ELA Reading component will be completed on May 3rd and 4th.

All students will receive their testing locations from their math teachers next week.  LaunchEd students will report as follows before 9:20 when all students will move to testing rooms: 6th grade-cafeteria, 7th & 8th grade-gym.

Please make sure your student gets a good night sleep before testing, eats a nutritious breakfast, and brings their charged laptop and charger to school with them.  We know our students will perform well!

Parents, please be sure your child's face mask fits properly and is worn correctly. The mask should cover both the nose and mouth at all times. If the mask is too big and tends to slide down, try twisting the ear loops to make it tighter across the face or tie a knot to shorten the loops.

Masks that are worn without covering the nose and mouth are not effective and put all at risk!
